Overview
This house is seriously impressive, best seen from the water where it stands like a castle on the rocks with winding stone pathways down to the sea. We can’t imagine a better spot to relax than the terraces the owner has built into the rock face. From here take in the spectacular views towards Corfu Town with a bottle of chilled rosé and a good book. There is a little bathing ladder to slip into the sea and cool off when the sun gets too much at midday.

The villa is located near Nissaki, in the north east of Corfu.
It is a 3 minute walk down a winding private track to the sea where it is possible to swim off the rocks
Kaminaki beach is a 20 minute walk, for water sports (water skiing, wake-boarding, kayaking), boat hire, tavernas and a supermarket
Agni bay is 4 minutes by car, for tavernas and boat hire
Nissaki is 4 minutes by car, for tavernas.
San Stephano is 15 minutes by car, a traditional fishing village with bars and tavernas.
Kassiopi is 20 minutes by car
Corfu Old Town is 1 hour by car

The main house is centred around an open plan living area with huge sliding glass doors onto the pool area (all on the same level) on one side and a shaded outdoor seating area on the other. The kitchen/dining area has all the highest spec appliances that you would expect in a house of this quality and a huge glass topped dining table. Three of the bedrooms are set off the main living area, all decorated in calming neutral colours with highest quality bed linen. The formal terraced garden is completely private and feels like an oasis – the high stone walls planted with Mimosa trees and bougainvillea, bubbling water features and unusually for Greece a sumptuously soft grass lawn all create a peaceful, cool space in which to relax. Breakfast is served in the shaded bar area on the terrace and there is an outdoor dining terrace under a wisteria-clad pergola with Swedish crystal chandelier.
