Kastelli House
Overview
Kastelli (meaning castle) was named by the owners after the piece of land the house was built on. It is set high up into the hillside amongst the olive groves. From the terrace you can see the southern tip of Corfu, the eastern coastline including Corfu town and Albania. The house is completely private and not overlooked by any other houses – it’s as though there is nothing between you and the sea but olive trees. You could be on top of the world, it certainly feels like it.To say the views from Kastelli House are breath-taking is not doing it full justice. We visited the house in the day and so can only imagine how beautiful the (almost 360 degree) view would be at night, lit up by the stars. The views from the house are relentlessly glorious. We don’t think you could ever tire of them.

San Stefano is 25 minutes by car or 15 minutes by boat
Kassiopi is 30 minutes by car
Corfu Old Town is 30 minutes by car

The property is divided into two houses so it’s great for two families sharing and the shaded seating area on the terrace means that everyone can eat together outside in the evenings. You can get away from the others if you really need to – there are endless shady spots to lounge in. For those with older children, the house is perfect for teenagers with speakers round the pool and a cool chill out area in the basement which has a large screen projector with DVDs and large sofas. Perfect for a flop after a hard day by the pool! The outside dining terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious Greek salad before nipping down in the car to swim in the sea or hire a boat.
