The house is located 3km from Piegaro (8 minutes by car) – a sleepy medieval village with some shops (butcher, bakery, small grocery), bar, pharmacy and a couple of restaurants.

Tavernelle di Panicale is 8km away (15 minutes by car) and has a few restaurants, bars and a couple of supermarkets
Città della Pieve is 13km and has some lovely restaurants and shops
Paciano is 17km away (20 minutes by car) and has a couple of restaurants and a supermarket
Lake Trasimeno is 25km (30 minutes by car), for the nearest swimming beach, boats and water sport activities
Perugia is 45 minutes by car
The Lamborghini golf course (9 holes) is c.20 minutes drive

Car hire is essential

Inside the 5 bedrooms are all beautifully designed, open plan with generous space and luxurious furnishings (we loved the bespoke light fittings). The guest house makes it perfect for 2 families wanting to holiday together. The kitchen is huge and very well equipped with quality appliances. It will be a joy to cook here or we can arrange staff to come in and cook for you. The open plan living room has an enormous sofa, Gervasoni style armchairs, carpets and plants all around to make this a restful space. The sitting and dining area is divided by an open cupboard and has a wood burning stove which opens on both sides and there is a large made to measure dining table with comfortable chairs.

Days here are spent exploring the profusion of beautiful hilltop towns and villages and the rich cultural history unique to each one, people watching and eating gelato in the local bar and taking a ‘passegiata’ in the evenings. It’s so easy to eat well here, cook with produce from the local markets or visit any of the local restaurants- small and hidden down cobbled alleys, inside you’re sure to find the most delicious local specialities.
