Overview
Dar Ahmar is a wonderful house just a half hours drive to Marrakech. The house can be found in a beautiful, very safe private gated group of houses in the countryside. We love the fact that these houses are entirely private from each other but in a group and benefit from shared use of a tennis court.

Central Marrakesh is 30 minutes by car
Golf courses and luxury spas are within 30 minutes drive
High Atlas Mountains are a 1.5 hours drive, offering walking, trekking and skiing
Essaouira and Oualida are a 3hr drive to the Atlantic coast
Fly to Marrakesh Menara Airport
Dar Ahmar is around a 40 minute drive from the airport
Transfers from the airport can be organised, payable locally
Car hire is possible, but we would recommend just using local taxis which can be booked via the house manager
The interiors are very tasteful and combine a stylish blend of classic elegance and local character. Beautiful stone floors are strewn with locally sourced rugs and ornate lanterns. This really is a beautiful house. There is an open-plan living/dining room with a fireplace at each end, a romantic four-poster bed in the master suite and a good mix of twin and double rooms for families.
With a resident cook among the permanent staff, relax with your friends and family by the pool in the beautiful gardens before dining al-fresco in the shade, looking out across the extensive lawned gardens.
